The founder of my bell dynasty

This has been the first bell in my collection.

 

As mentioned before I found this table bell 

30 years ago in Buenos Aires.

 

From then on I kept looking for bells world-wide.

The search still continues.

 

As founder of the dynasty this bell is close to my heart

and deserves here a special place.

 

A few years later I found out that the maker had been

a German company by the name of

 

 Erhard & Sons, Schwäbisch-Gemünd. 

 

The manufacturing date goes back to around 1910

(the Art Nouveau period with its floral design).
